Use case
How to build an events app with AI
An events app needs to answer three questions fast: what is happening, when, and how do I get in. GrowApps builds that from a description of your event or event series, with a real schedule, ticketing or RSVP, and a live app attendees can use the same day you describe it.
What to include
The screens a events app needs.
- An event list or schedule with dates, times and locations
- A ticket or RSVP screen with a headcount or ticket type
- An event detail page with a map or venue info
- A confirmation and a ticket the attendee can show at the door
- An organizer screen showing who is registered
Try it yourself
A prompt you can paste into GrowApps.
This is a realistic starting prompt, not a placeholder. Change the names, numbers and details to your own before you use it.
Build an events app for a local run club, Athens Roadrunners. List upcoming runs with date, time, meeting point and distance. Let a member RSVP to a run and see how many others are going, and give me an organizer screen showing the RSVP list for each run. Add a one time paid ticket flow for a special 10k event with a 15 euro entry fee.
What GrowApps sets up
The parts you would otherwise wire up by hand.
Sign in for members, guest RSVP for one off events
Regular members can have an account, while a one time public event can allow a lighter guest RSVP.
An events and registrations database
Every event, RSVP and ticket is stored, so the headcount and the organizer view always match what attendees see.
Payments, for paid events
Stripe handles ticket sales when an event charges an entry fee.
Hosting
The app is live at a shareable link the moment the preview is ready, easy to post in a group chat or on social media.
A Play Store bundle
If you want a real app listing, GrowApps produces the signed Android App Bundle and the Publish area guides Play Console.
Honest limits
What a first build will not get right.
A schedule, RSVP and a paid ticket flow are a normal first build. A scannable QR ticket for check in at the door is a reasonable ask but takes an extra round to get the scanning and validation right. Large multi track conferences with dozens of sessions and speaker profiles are a bigger project than a single event page, plan for it to grow over a few conversations rather than one prompt.
Cost
What building this costs in credits.
A first build like this uses about 4 credits on average. New accounts get starter credits plus 1 free credit a day, up to 10 a month, no card required. Standard is 20 US dollars a month for 20 credits, Pro is 200 a month for 300, and unused credits roll over for a month.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask before building a events app.
Can attendees pay for tickets inside the app?
Yes. Payments can be connected so an attendee pays an entry fee and receives a confirmation, with GrowApps handling the checkout.
Can I see who RSVPed to a specific event?
Yes. An organizer screen can list registrations per event, so you know your headcount before the day arrives.
Does the app work for a single event or an ongoing series?
Both. Describe whether you run one event or a recurring series, and GrowApps builds the schedule to match.
Describe your events app and see it built.
GrowApps plans it, writes the Flutter code and gives you a live preview the same day.
